But it is very serious.
When I write something in DB Pro and then I ask to execute it, I get the program to open and instantly close. This is a major deterrent to my learning to program in DB. I can't even have it say "Hello world" So, how do I get to keep the program to stay open to see "Hello world"???

Try sticking:

wait key

... as the last line in your program.

Did that fix it?

Yes! So, it would be nice if little details like this one were added to the tutorials. It is quite frustrating to do exactly what the tutorial says and get nothing.

LOL! I remember trying to do that in DBP my first time, got kinda upset just because I couldn't do it. All you can do is look back and laugh. LOL.
