Well that was a load of crap!

This is insane. I sure am happy I'm not from Kansas (and no, I'm not dissing Kansas, quite a nice place actually "There's no place like home!"). Anyway, this really is getting moronic. Creationism? Intelligent Design? It's a load of cow feces if you ask me .

It's really ridiculuous when the government or other groups have the ability to change something they know nothing about. Teaching should be kept at an open minded level to promote the highest level of creativity. If children are exposed to such a closed mind way of thinking I think it'll hurt their creative minds in the future because of the way they were raised during that early time period.

Me! is right (in my opinion), LIT.

We are not debating or really directly discussing evolutionary/creationist theories, but Me! is simply posting a link to an article about the state of other people's thoughts (and not directly on the subject, either, but how the state of Kansas is dealing with it). I *think* we can discuss our opinions on the change, but not the evolutonary theory itself (I may have come across as doing that, but I meant the change).

Of course it's a mod's decision, if they think this doesn't belong here then that's their choice.

It's just that certain people like to get a rouse out of the community in threads like these.

Then allow me to get this thread locked.

They are not preaching creationism, they are putting it in the same light as evolution. Going from avoiding bringing up creationism at all and teaching evolution as factual science, to criticising both theories in the same lesson is a pretty good step forward, don't you think?

Oh, and if I hear or read the phrase "Separation of Church and State" again there will be separation of spine and body. Freakin ignoramuses.
