its possible to make an ftp program

its possible to upload the data.

You will need an account from a provider that allows ftp access instead of a webpage that has similar features to an ftp application but performed inside the browser.

Probably - hard to say without knowing how your site is arranged. One thing the FTP commands can't do is create directories. So as long as you don't need that, yes you could do this.

and do I have to pay?

I have no idea how to do it, but I know the ftp will be free from your computer, the biggest problem is if any files are downloaded from it your computer's performance will suffer, depending on how big the file is.

Someone made an instant messenger program where a text file was opened and stored to their ftp so people could keep their usernames online, I dont know who tho...

Why bother?

What's wrong with your default FTP client?

Anyway GUIs just take up more space.

All I know is that I have already made a web site with HTML on my comp. I am able to veiw it just fine and it looks great but my only problem is that I need to get it on the internet so others can view it and I have absolutely no idea how to do that
and I'm asking for help with the FTP commands so I can achieve this.
