i need help on making a simple water effect like some sort of water movement.. can anyone give me any advise

you can either use a matri or a mesh, and make an algorithm making the vertices move up and down, or just have a plane with an animated water texture, or you culd use a shader, or all 3

i you are using darkbasic classic:


you could :
make plane , texture it , make box covering the plane and set it ghost , and then pod do , you could put randomize matrix command , that would make simple water movement , try it and let me know if it worked ?

simple matrix water, make the matrix with less segments if the framerate hit is too great.

thanx i'le give it a shot i'm using dark basic classic so i hope the snippet works on there thanx for ur time...open to any more advise

If u own DBC then go 2 darkbasic\myproj and there is one called jetki, tis has a simple water effect on it
