[EDITOSAURUS]I plan on learning Javascript once I can afford a book, because online tuts suck...

I'll probably work on the site more at school in my spare time lol...and over this week because I'm off school and have no obligations...I love turkey day

hmmm reminds me of my website
my website used a centered text and was black, red, blue(link)

not bad but learn some of the advanced elements of html such as tables and frames

maybe add a template picture(if you dont know what i mean then dont attempt to cause you will just make it look like a n00b site)

php is also very nice for making easy to edit news and such
in my website i just have a file called news.txt and i just add my news and my php "txt2html" script turns it into a fullblown html file with text colors and everything(btw also no <br>'s)

and yes as Jeku said, add some content if you have made anything or add a jokes page or a code snipplet page, something besides a bunch of links
links are suppose to be part of the website not, the website

tutorials, programs, useful but simple php scripts, a place for code snipplets and more at

(still under construction)

Learn to indent your code!!!!

Honestly - I rate that 1/10. I only give you 1 because you coded it yourself. Go to http://www.w3schools.com and learn HTML first. You'll benefit from it!

Dreamweaver is a good tool - BUT.. The problem is.. Its absolutely pants at producing neat and maintainable HTML code. It does ridiculous things like:
<h1><span stlye="font: tahoma; font-size: 36.75px;"><strong> </strong></span></h1>

All that for a space!!!!!

Seriously - spend a few days learning Dreamweaver and produce slow poor sites, or just put in a small ammount of effort and learn HTML and CSS. Its really the easiest langiage to learn in the world. And bear in mind, anyone on these forums has already expressed some interest in programming which is half the battle. My girlfriend hates programming and computers in general (she believes in an IT-less utopian world), but she managed to learn enough HTML and CSS to build a basic little site in the space of 4 hours (all from scratch manually coded)! This was using the w3schools link I posted earlier.

EDIT: How interesting... The forum doesn't escape the entity '& n b s p;' (remove the spaces). Thats a non-breaking space. HTML removes double spaces by default, but not nbsp's. There is actually an nbsp in the html thingy above, but the forum removes it
