I don't have a 360 yet, but I was browsing around the IGN site and noticed they've reviewed 2 of the Live Arcade games. This one looks SO SWEET! And the unlockables are pretty cool too. Watch the videos

For $5, what could be better? It's pretty intersting that there are some GarageGames titles in the Arcade service. The developers of these games (indie's ?) are probably making a *killing* from Live Arcade.

This game looks awesome! Looking at some of the XBOX games makes me almost want to break down and finally join the MS side. If Konami moved their main MGS development to that console I'd be forced to.

Ahh yes, i'm glad you brought this game up Jeku.. I've tried it myself and it's a VERY addicting game. The funny thing is, as soon as i ran it it reminded me alot of Duo.. The gameplay is very different, enemies actually are attracted to you.. The circles work as the -black holes- of the game, once you shoot them they start up their pulling powers and suck in enemies(which can be useful, but obviously also deadly).

The game has fantastic gameplay though, when you shoot things it's like fireworks jump across the screen. You get the feeling that you're losing control, but if you make a mistake you feel as if, had you gone about the situation in a different way you would've been able to get through it.

I highly recommend this game to everyone, it doesnt just look good.. It is good, and definately worth the $5 price tag.

Looks great doesn't it Jeku. I'm jealous as hell.....I'd kill to have written something that looked as good as that

It's probably the main reason I'm hoping to pick up a 360 next weekend.

I'll grab a few "proper" games as well but I think I'll be jumping straight onto XBLA and playing this and Mutant Storm.....oh and having a play with Yaks Neon of course

Fog, dont be jealous.. your games do look great.

I gave mutant storm a go, and i personally dont like it.. but i'd be glad to hear some more opinions.. There's not a lot to the game, and the levels are done -really- quickly, with a stupidly long pause before the next level.

@fog - Believe it or not I thought of you when I saw this game in action It reminded me of your games, but I forgot to make that comment in my first post. I too will be taking advantage of these XBLA games when I get the 360 sometime next year.

I have the 360, and I've been playing this game ALOT since I bought it. It's truly an amazing game in action. You almost stop thinking while playing and you rely on pure reflex to get through it as it gets harder and harder. The particle effects make it look like the fourth of july at times when they're flying around everywhere.

Yea, I love this game

Hi Jeku. Yeah it looks really great. Could be quite an ispiration too seeing as how popular it's proving to be. Something that could almost be done in DBPro on a decent PC (it would hav to be to compete with the power of the 360)

Sorry to bump this old thread but I've only just seen this. Jeku (or anyone else) If you have an original x-box and want to play this game, the original Geometry Wars is FREE, hidden in Project Gotham 2 - its really good fun
