This is not actually an error, but when I start the game it somehow stops with a black screen without showing my 3D model. The code for it was:

Why doesn't that work?

Thanks!

I propose that is WHOLE code.

position object 1,200,0,500

---
delete that line (defaultly camera is fixed to a point , so
you moved object of the camera wievport using:
position object 1,200,0,500)

so , this code will work:

@Dodic:

Sorry Dodic... But how much have you even used DarkBasic? If that's a whole code then of course it won't work.

The whole code should look like this:

@FireRaven:

Is it just me or have you made a double post? I also answered to the same question on the DarkBasic Pro board Please don't double post

listen , that code WOULD work , just would end , but it IS answer to black screen and ofcourse you DON`t have to use do and loop commands !(if you`r making a static app -example)

And you don't think i know that? oh my... Could you tell me who on earth would load a model, if it ain't going to be used for a "dynamic program"? And by the way, would you please tell me what a static application is? I don't think i've seen them before...

Okay, calm down...

*Walks silent out of the thread..*

*Blink*... ha... haha... hahahahahaha... Dodic SERIOUSLY stop "helping" people. First of all you need help in several areas. Secondly your "help" is more like torment to us who know what we are talking about and a sign pointing to hell for newcomers. Stop helping until you have any idea what your talking about.

Oh yeah one more thing Dodic. That code wont work. The model would load and the program would end. The compiler works in such a way that if there is no code to run it counts it as an end.

Well, technically Diodic's code would work, but technically and generally he's wrong - oh well, I won't even get into it it's not worth it. Something like this is always on these forums
