Not sure if this is the right board, but does anyone know if Trackmania Sunrise was made with DBPro?

It isn't the right board and try using the search facility.

Heh, I highly doubt trackmania was developed using DBP or any other basic programming language. Trackmania is very cool. Not saying cool stuff isn't done with DBP.

It's not, but it's a fine example of how breaking the rules can make a good game.

No collision between cars, only 4 keys required, bizarre physics, no damage..and yet it's so oddly addictive!

I haven't played Sunrise but I had the original trackmania and was impressed with its originality and playability

Its not made in DBP, I think TGC are promoting it cos its basically a gamemaking product as it allows you to make your own vehicles and tracks

I managed a "You beat the Nadeo High Score!" on one of the levels.

Personally, I hate the puzzles. The Stunt levels are fantastic, I think they came with the update last month.

NFSMW on 360 is pretty cool - although I like the graphical style of the Underground games better, and basically haven't found better (or certainly more fun) car games since Burnout 3 and Outrun 2 - nothing can top them imo (not even revenge) - but then I always preferred arcade style racers I'm afraid

Look this game is awesome. I own it, the track editor is so powerful they actually have a right to call it a track editor and the car skin editor is also really powerful. The online community is large enough that there is a limitless supply of new maps all the time. There are even map making competitions occasionally. If you wanna play look for me on the US servers. Name : Antidote (Holy crap how'd you guess?!11)

Na - NFSMW is better - whats more exciting than a 12 minute police chase, having to go through police blocks, prevent yourself being rammed into a corner and bashing the hell out of them by knocking over various bits of scenery ?

Two completely different games. Cannot be compared. If you play both you'll see how completely different they are.
