I would be most appreciate if anyone could forward some ideas on how to make fluid animations using DBC?

For example, please look at this animation I attached.

Can anyone please tell me what is wrong with this animation?

Thank you kindly

*looks for the attached file*

Cannot find file... tisk tisk

Anyway my ideas for fluid animation in DBC:

you could create a 3d enviroment and have the models being animated, moving the camera to different waypoints giving that effect.

2d animations, it could be as simple as a flame... from something like zelda.. which is just changing bitmaps. Other than that try keep a high frame rate blah blah to keep the animation "smooth"

Hope that helps, if not be more precise about the question. Animation can mean 3d model animation, 2d pictures being animated.... to even a .AVI animation being played on a plain

Anim8or is a free way to make nice 2D animations, but requires some 3D modelling skills. You can save an AVI, or frames.

Forgive me. The file was 3MB and I couldn't wait for it to upload but please try out this animation (object included).

NOTE: The man object is from 3D Game Maker. I won't be using this project for commercial purposes - just a dummy stand-in object before I get my own model done

Anyway, thank-you for the help. I will keep on experimenting with frame based animations to try and acheive the effect I desire.
