all the old Amy Squirrel cartoons (up to this year) awesome, thought you might enjoy these, used to follow the series (in Amiga Format I think it was), quite well done imo.

I knew what internet was, just didn`t have a modem or the ability to pay for long distance connections to servers, I had a realy slow earcups style modem for a spectrum for a while (built from a electronics magazine article), used to swap code and graphics with my mate from school, yes!, there where geeks back as far as the mid 1970`s btw

actually, there was no such thing as a sinclair spectrum until late 1981 / 1982 the only 'home computers' in mid 70's were prohibitivley expensive and few and far between the 2 best machine of the 70's was the atari 400 HANDS DOWN. bearing in mind that the ZX80 was released in 1980 and the ZX81 was released in 1981 and the spectrum came after them, i find it hard to believe you were making modem connections in the 70's, but were getting old now and dementia is most prolly setting in incidently, the spectrum was designed and made less than 50 miles from me.

what year is this again? who am i? damn it's tuff getting old.

@Geecee3: I aint THAT old you cheeky sod , admitedly the post wasn`t clear, I was refering to the only modem I ever had (about the Amiga time period...cos thats what was mentioned) since I never actualy had one for the Amiga, just a diy thing for the Spectrum and then should have said more fully that as prime geeks me and my mate Frank had been mucking around with computers, programable calculators, electronics and stuff since the mid 1970`s, I had one of the earliest calculators, the incredible four function RPN Bowmar Brain (that was dire), a z88 "computer" kit that worked in hex with a keypad and led display (but it was programable) and one of the earliest z80`s (later with awesome 3.5k rampack
