This really ought to be in the WIP section.

It ran very slowly, either that or its supposed to be very slow. From looking at your code, you don't seem to be using a sync rate, so its gonna be different speeds on different computers.

Other than that its a good start. Pretty solid collision and movement. But it was hard to get a feel for the gameplay as it was so slow.

Also, it should be in WIP.

it ran REALLY fast on my pc. i thought it was a litte too fast in fact. i wonder why the speed differs so much?
none the less i think it's a really great start for a game.

Well your 2.8ghz beats my 900mhz, it must be that.

Stoned programmer, put in a

or something in. The fps were fine on my computer but the controls are probably set up to take into account the super fps your comp outputs.

ok, ill try that, coz the speed differances was getting annoying, perfect on mi comp, mage fast on mi dads laptop, and slower than me after a few reffers on collage computers

I always use "sync rate 0" so it syncs as fast as the computer running it can handle... anytime I want to slow down the action I use timers.

I loved the game by the way... can't wait to see the finished product.

Uh, the ship travels faster than it's own projectiles... It's more like I'm dropping mines rather than shooting missiles...

But for your first moving sprite thingy with shooting...It's good.
