So the little marketing thing for Splinter Cell 4 on 360 is this http://www.bewaresamfisher.com thing. Click on the sketch of Sam Fisher that is above the picture of the pistols, and read about his crimes in Denver, CO and Phoenix, AR. There's no Phoenix, Arkansas.

*cough* AZ *cough*

You may be thinking, "whoopdeefriggindoo". But this either shows that their webmasters can't take the time to proofread their material (*cough* IGN *cough* Gamespot *cough*), or that the developers themselves didn't do much double checking in their design documents. It's probably the webmaster thing, but honestly. Lame. Or maybe not so much lame as it is funny.

Or maybe at the year the game is played in one of the places changed their names? Never assume anything, as anything is possible.

Hey, that's the third constant forum member I've seen that's from Manitoba, we must be like Toronto is for Hollywood.

So you guys don't comprehend how stupid the phrase, "Phoenix, Arkansas" sounds? Think about Arkansas.

...
...

Bill Clinton.

Now, in Phoenix, there are some regular ole white people, but there are mostly Mormons and Mexicans. Quite a contrast from Arkansas. The LDS normally live in the suburbs though, and inner-city Phoenix is full of mostly Mexican Americans and some slightly smaller amount of random varieties of whites.

I mean, think Arkansas--Woodsy. Then think Phoenix. You ever played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and played the AZ level with all the construction? That's what our freeways look like all the time, exactly that, construction and dirt and non-green and cement cylinders and empty trucks lying all over the place never finishing any road work because the city is growing so darn fast.

Maybe it's a fictional place created just for the game?
