I saw a 2d Fighting game in the Program Anouncements a while back, can't remember the name though. Try using the google forum search at the bottom to find the game. Are you planning on making a 3d or 2d fighting game?

This is fairly interesting, I've always wanted to make a fighting game, and 3d would be that much better. But I didn't want to use animated models as the fighters, at least not animated in the way we're usually used to (animated in 3DS or other). No, I wanted the characters to be a programmed sort-of 'rag doll' kinda thing...i.e...not animated strictly with set, one-time animations. I mean animated by being programmed; a set collection of parts (limbs) that are animated by programming, not by a set, defined animation as would be made in a 3d animating program. So, the models could get hit in any part of the body and be able to record damage there, which would then change how the character is able to fight...if he had an arm damaged or something...it's still an idea I'm thinking about, but I know putting it together would be very complicated.

I cower in the presence of the proposal of making a fighting game...

I am paranoid. No more can I say.

There was an older arcade game that used something like limbs with 2d animation. It was called Time Killers. It was a fun game, you could cut off all your opponents limbs. BRING IT ON STUMPY!

Im planning on making a 3D fighting game, I already know how to model people so that won't be bad. So cool there is a fighting game that was made with DBPro, although I haven't played it The screenshots make it look good now that I know I know it's possible

I'm currently remaking the C64 version of BRUCE LEE. Quite a large and complex amount of code is needed, I'm really amazed at how Ron Fortier created the original in just 64K
