hi im new and i really want to make some games but frist of all i have windows xp mdeia center edtion does that mean i cant use this becouse it says under sytem reqierments home /pro

We can tell you if you are screwed or not, but we need your system specs. Or you could keep that confidential and just click to see the SYS requirements on the purchase page. But I guess if you have XP, it should work.

BTW - Do not buy DBC, or Dark Basic, buy Dark Basic Pro. You WILL thank me 11 months from now. That is, if you are serious about programming. Only do that if you got a spare $95.01.

I tried both demos and DBPro is much much better. **Digs in pocket** nope...still nothing.

i have 1 GB memory windows xp media center 250 gb hard drive ati video card(i think) its a capque (er HP)
amd atholon 3500+

the only part i was woryed about was that i have windows media center not home/pro yes i am series about gameing im only 12 and have played games that i love and i want to make crations like that and make difernt types of games

(offtopic) what got me interested in programing was modding halo and halo2

try the demo, mediacenter is more just XP with facelift afaik, just make sure you have DX9.0c before you start (free from Microsofts website) or you might think it cant run cos it doesn`t if dx9 isn`t there.



Windows: 32 bit extension/graphical shell for a 16bit patch to an 8bit OS originally coded for a 4bit CPU, written by a 2bit company that can't stand 1bit of competition, now available in 64bits.
