Hello
As some of you may know, stores and other businesses and other places in that area, are now calling Christmas Trees Holiday Trees, and Christmas to X-Mas. What do you all think of it. Now, I some of this has to do with religion, but I will not go into that subject since my friend over there *points at indi* will go and immediately lock this thread.
Seriously, is it wrong or right to do this to America's traditions. I mean, the reasons why it was called Christmas (still not religion) was based on the facts that our founding fathers created this nation on. And to say that we (meaning people wanting this to be called Xmas and Holiday Trees) are saying that we are suddenly smarter than people such as George Washington, and James Madison. I mean, I understand that they are trying to take away *** from holidays (still not saying the "R" word) when that is what George Washington and James Madison erected when they wrote up the constitution. I think it is just a bunch of BULLoni. Baloni. But still, I myself think it is wrong for them to be doing this. I know USA dwellers can relate to this, but not much people from UK or Europe.
In this matter, they should not at all be apart of doing any changing to what traditions we have had for years. It is dumb and stupid. I mean my (R word) started Christmas, and now it is being changed by (A word, NO, not donkey, here's a hint Ath*****).

Tell me other forum readers, what do you think of this matter, and should it be tolerated?

You know that Chirstmas was around before you founding fathers where even born?

By way of demonstration, he emitted a batlike squeak that was indeed bothersome.

Yes ofcourse, I know that, but ya see, our Founding Fathers based the constitution on what (R word) started Christmas. And now Americans want to make it X-Mas. (X-ing out ******mas) So in other words, people are changing what our founding fathers based this nation on (USA).

Please, lock the thread. On the basis of Drew G being a frickin moron if you have to.

I mean, Drewb, seriously, did you read what you posted? Your two posts in this thread (as well as your posts in many other threads) are probably the most non-sensical and inaccurate pieces of bullturdles to grace these fine feathered forums.

I think you need to leave the forums, grow up, learn a thing or two about your country's history, and never come back.

Heck, we all do. Even me.

bullturdles . . . classic!

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

Drew G, you sure know how to stick your foot in your mouth.

The founding fathers of America were Deists, not Christians. That is to say, they believed that God created the earth and was just sort of hanging out. They were more concerned with freedom of the press, gunpowder, and separation of state and religion. Although religion was a part of their lives, it wasn't particularly important to them what God was thinking at the moment. I doubt they put too much thought into Christmas. It's sure not in the Constitution.

America was not founded on religion. It was founded by intelligent and practical men who saw many problems with their current government, and wanted their own country (nothing is entirely pure). Hence, separation of church and state. Had they based America on religion, it wouldn't be that way.

And Christmas has nothing to do with America. It was around a long before America. Dumbing it down is a way to get non Christians in the holiday spirit. Who cares? Things move forward, nobody can stop that. If it's a personal thing, let it be just that.

Your post reflects an uneducated and nativist viewpoint, both uncool. Attitudes like that cause Americans to be unpopular.

Well, Merry Christmas.
