I don't press the mark all as read button, but for whatever reason nothing is highlighting in blue for new posts. Absolutely nothing. what's going on

your on the forums too much it might be because you are working from cache - so i'd say clear your cache, and i'd also give us more information - ie what browser are you using etc

The forum's a bit buggy with hilighting... For example, after reading some new stuff off the bottom of a page and then going to the next page (assuming it's new) the next page (that you haven't read before) won't be blluuuuueeee.

And you gotta have blueee...

No everything is just grey always. I'm using Firefox and it has never happened in the past before and just a couple days ago it did. I don't know why and I couldn't find anything to reverse it in the profile menu.

change your password - maybe someone is logging in and marking everything as read

Actually, I've recently noticed that some thread have unread posts but when I go in, everything is marked as read... No idea why!

if you post in a thread, your post is marked new, and if you read one page but not the next the whole thread is marked 'read'

Except that every single thread, even ones I haven't visited are marked as read. I understand how the forums work and at school on my account they work fine, but here at home they don't work. Should I consider deleting cookies?

im my experiance the forum is only all grey when you're not logged in, I have to log in to see which are highlighted etc. Make sure you're not logging in just to post

Unread deleted posts cause this.

Let me go over a few points to everybody so that they can fully understand the situation

-I have never pressed the mark all as read
-For whatever reason everything is always marked as read even though I haven't read any of them
-I understand how the forums work
-I am obviously logged in or I would not be able to post this message.

Does anyone know anything that could be causing this?

There's no way we could know. Only Rich would be able to answer the question.
