I was not sure where to post this so I just chose to post it here.
"The Imagine Cup is the world’s largest and most inclusive student technology competition. Now in its fourth year, the competition is sponsored by Microsoft and is designed to provide students with challenging, fun, real world technology experiences. There are thousands of dollars in prize money, but the opportunities to think big, connect with others, and possibly win a trip to the finals in a foreign country are what make the Imagine Cup most attractive."
This is a quote from thespoke.com which is one of the sites hosting the contest. Here is the link to it...

The Project Hishimi contest, according to the website, is for .NET programmers who are either advanced, or just beginning. I have not actually downloaded the SDK for the contest (I am still considering entering), but the site says the contest is for anyone familiar with object oriented programming, so maybe you should give it a shot if you have even some experience with the .NET environment. I have not looked at the contest rules and other legal stuff because I just wanted to inform everyone that this was going on. I know there are a few programmers here that are familiar with multiple languages, especially the .NET enviornment, and they may find this fun, or maybe even win some money. Mainly this post was to see if anyone has heard of this compo, so if you have, elaborate what you know about it, because info. on it is scarce even on the websites.
