hmm this is a hard one (Say Adam to Eve haha! sorry...)
Well I would either chose
Hypnotize - System of a Down
Mezmerize - System of a Down
Kings of Damnation - Black Label Society

So I'll say Mezmerize, it had the biggest impact on me

One of the WORST albums of the year:

Finch ~ Say hello to sunshine

I was really disappointed with album, considering their first CD was class. There's good song on it, Fireflies, but the rest may as well be classified as white noise.

Woah, went to Manchester last night to see Coldplay live. What can I say? Utterly amazing. Great support act too (Richard Ashcroft from 'The Verve') doing all the classics...

Coldplay were amazing too. Chris Martin ran the length of the MEN from the stage and up into the crowds... balancing on the edge...

Amazing!

oh my, some people have AWFUL taste in music on here

well, i'm not sure i can pinpoint my favourite of this year, so i'll make a list

The Arcade Fire - Funeral
The Go! Team - Thunder, Lightning, Strike!
65DaysofStatic - One Time For All Time
Foo Fighters - In your Honor (can't believe no one's mentioned it yet)
Pendulum - Hold Your Colour
LCD Soundsystem - LCD Soundsystem

some that have been on my playlist a lot/constantly recently;

Joy Division - Substance
New Order - Best of
Primal Scream - Screamadelica
Death Cab for Cutie - The Photo Album
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here + Dark Side of the Moon
Incubus - Science
Oasis - Definately, Maybe

Also, while i can't name any albums, i've been listening to a lot of UK hiphop, particularly from the brighton scene, as my housemate plays it constantly.

Now... that's proper music

PS. I'd proberbly say the arcade fire were my favourite act of 2005

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Speaking of Coldplay, I had a nightmare last night where I paid over $100 each for two tickets to see them in concert.

One of the biggest disappointments of this year was Prodigy's new album. Just didn't give me high-flying energy like Fat of the Land :-(

Oh yes, Funeral was great. Arcade Fire is my favorite of 2005 as well.
