can someboday send a helicopter script? i also want to vechile scripts....

Scripts alone can't create a helicopter. What you need is a model of a helicopter that has a built in animation of the blades spinning. THEN a script for a helicopter would come in useful. The script could tell the helicopter to play its animation while moving up, down, left, or right.

Some of you are.. in my opinion, Just a bunch of lazy oddballs who play way to much concole games and think Dark Basic and hard working people have to listen to things like: Can you script this? Can you do that? Ho for god sakes! Why don't you people do what I did for 8 years and sweat blood making QUAKE mods and learn this and that you bums! Man I can't wait to go back to 3D Gamestudio!

You are aware that it is impossible to make drivable vehicles.
The scripts in FPSC can only make the helicopter move in certain
ways but you can not drive or controll the helicopter yourselfe.

i know that ,but i was thinking can this be made that is when player get's up on a vhecile then the vechile starts moking in a given path. its not user controlled but it will go according to animation. means, suppose one animation is given that the vechile will go forward then right turn the again forward and then it wil stop... can this be done?

That's actually a good idea, and it should work. You would just have to associate the helicopter with the player, then give it commands like moveup, movefore, etc.

I might have to try that!

so,bond1 plz try making a script like this. if u need any help i wil help u. by doing this we may actually make moving vechiles .it would bring revolution to fps creator.

Use an invisible floor and place it 1 or 2 layers above you use the unarmed guard fpe file to your hellicopter model and change the name to that of your model and the .x file.
Place your model on the invisable floor and add way points use the player follows way point script.
The hellicopter will glide around the path you can still shoot it and it can shoot you.
Sorry Im not very good at instructions maybe someone will write this again for you so thay it is clearer.

ummm how do i put the helicopter in the game cause ive copied the file into my entriy user file then put it in a "helicopter" file but now it dosnt work ??? can some1 tell me how u properly put these things in?

Look at the entities that are there in your entity folders. (entity.fpe). That's the best place to start figuring out how to put your own stuff in there. You need to make an fpe and a script for it.

i was thinking we make the model in game space and make it animated . we put the helicopter high ,so that when we put the model in the fpsc then it doesn't touch the ground...the make waypoints....if i don't give any invisible floor then wil the helicopter fall????

Guitar, I thought that we all went over this, what is the point of invisible floors!!! Use the skull init! NoGravity!

And I made working vehicals for EA, of course now I can improve them now, have better understanding of language.

Attach to skull entity with attached FPE. Apearantly FPSC only deletes SEGMENT bins and dbos. Annoying. So delete skull.bin.

thank's 4 the script..can the camera be in third peron mode when driving? and when driving the weapon(gun)must not be shown....

DOWNLOAD THE .FPE,
PUT IT IN C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\entitybank\ww2\characters

Delete the Skull.bin
attach to main of skull
Now if you press enter you turn, and if you don't you go forward.
