Just reading Slashdot, and there's an article claiming that Google is trying to buy the Opera Web Browser.

could turn out to be rather interesting, hopefully google will do some good stuff with it.

I got 295 opera hits out of 20362 on my site (for December, not it's entire existence )... so i guess there is at least one computer savvy monk-ninja who uses it

Our biggest work website which gets around 70,000 visitors a month has the following stats for November;

IE6 = 78%
Firefox = 4%
IE5 = 4%
Mozilla = 3%
Netscape7 = 0.3%
Opera = 0.2%
Netscape8 = 0.02%

+ a whole heap of other browsers. There's even people still using IE3 and IE4

Boo!

Goopera.

Currently I use Opera for casual browsing, mostly because it doesn't crap out on me the way Firefox usually does (bit of a memory problem methinks). I only jump back to Firefox/Flock when I have to use the Flashgot extension.
