What is the fastest graphics card that there is out there now?

I don't mean the one with the most speed (like 256mb, 126mb, and what not). I mean the ones that perform the FASTEST. I would like to know the ones you have used before. A link and a price rnage would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advanced!

The Nvidia 7800 GTX 512MB is getting rave reviews everywhere about being fastest card (and also rather expensive). Get a motherboard with SLI and you can stick two of these babies in there if you want!

I'm going to wait until prices come down a bit and then spend my dosh.

Boo!

i have 2 7800gtx`s and yes they do run very fast alot better than my previous radeon 7000 :p, sofar ive been able to run all the games ive played on max settings with no lag anywhere, my 3d mar results http://service.futuremark.com/servlet/Index?pageid=/orb/projectdetails&projectType=12&projectId=1566283 none of my pc is overclocked either.

but having just 1 would be fine for most games i guess but as newer games come out they may need higher sys req so i got 2.

I sure hope so!

i hear that one 7800 can out perform most any dual video card setup out there.

What do you think the price (in US$) for the 7800 GTXC 512MB will be come Spring? It was plugged in the last Game Creators newsletter, and they normally go to great lengths just to get you to spend $20. I was saving up my "dosh" as Spooky calls it for some elective surgery, but if I have to chose between living with a 128MB or a herniated navel, I could always get some duct tape and sit comfy watching some really fast graphics.
