I can't find anything in the FM which says how to bring in your own models. And these boards don't seem to gie much help. Someone said something about using an exsisting object, but that doesn't explain how to bring in your own models.
If anyone reading this knows the exact instructions on how to do this, please post them...without any RTFM bull.

Try the new entity maker. you can import your models as x. files and put them into FPSC!

You don't have to be insane to answer my questions, but it helps

There are several programs you can get or buy at a reasonable price that will import x files for you.ECS Pro and Magic FPS come to mind but I am sure there are others.
You can download and use the free entity maker from FPSC and it is easy to use and has a step by step tutorial but most of the other programs have more features that make it quicker and easier to import your model saving you time and aggravation.
The amount of time I have saved using ECS Pro and Magic FPS more than makes up for the small amount of cash I parted with.

Milkshape3D....Use the Direct X mesh tools for starters??????????? And
DeleD written by Jeroen Commandeur and Paul-Jan Pauptit using Delphi and OpenGL. Originally designed as a leveleditor to create worlds like found in Quake and Unreal, DeleD is now being transformed into a full 3D modeler. DeleD uses simple ASCII fileformats so that other programmers can easily write their own programs (like 3D engines) around the DeleD fileformats. It can also export scenes to industry standards like DirectX .X. Other programmers can extend the functionality of DeleD by writing plugins. Read the second page of this Help file to learn more about DeleD's current features.

Then of course make your tga, jpg UV ready and tested for your model..
Then make your FPE file(more on that in other threads) DeleD also imports Xfiles to going off topic) Place all files myCrappyModel.X
Crappy.tga, Crappymodel.FPE, Crappymodel.dds into the same folder called crappy. There. Of course yes you should take the high road and
use tgc's entity maker to do this to....Good god how many times has this been posted?
