I'm using Truespace 3.2 for my modelling and animation, but whenever I export to .x the textures don't carry through. Does anyone know any way to make this work? Buying new stuff is out of the question, but I do have a copy of 3D Canvas, but I'm less than adequate with it so far.

Thanks in Advance,
Zach

Ensure that your textures are in the same directory as your model, but other than that you'd have to upload an example for us to look at, like even just a cube with a texture applied, so we can look at the .X files texturing setup.

Do you need a shot from inside Truespace or inside DB Pro?

A common problem with .X files is embedded paths that don't match your game setup.

If you're using .X files saved in plain text (ASCII) format, open them up with notepad and search for the double quotes so you can find the texture paths. Remove the path data and leave the filename. Store the .X and texture files together and you should be good.
