If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

Well, this doesn't exaclty count, but my great-grand-uncle founded a famous Scottish college (I myself am not Scottish, but my ancestors were). In fact, for those who know your stuff, it's the same college that the fictional "James Bond" is said to have attended in "You Only Live Twice", after being removed from Eton College. It is also the college that Tony Blair went to. I feel special . Can anyone guess which college this is?

Well, as turns out:

Mr. Bethune is an honor roll student in Lockport (I have no idea were that is)
Dr. Norman Bethune went to help Mao Tse-Sung fight the Japanese in 1938
I share Santa Claus's first name, St. Nick
I share a last name with a town in france, bethune. Note that that is were my ancestors are from, also I share a name with a french King
I share a middle name with King David

Thats about it. Oh, I also found a biography on one Lachlan Bethune, came over to australia from scotland, I found he's my great, great, great, something or other grandfather.

I've always had people who have had better lives (popular game since Uni back in early 90s). Well, more successfull anyway. B**tards....

Still, better than a friend of mine who has a selection of top level sport people. Depressing.

Cheers

Well, apparently my name is:

A case study on family bereavement,
Someone teaching you Spanish the way diplomats learn,
A character in an apparently trashy romance novel,
Working for a games company (me!),
Author of a study on developmental psychology and links between high psychosis levels and low levels of affectionality.

Nothing amazingly interesting, really :/

I just did my real name (not Grog Grueslayer) and aparently I live in Denver, Colorado and work as a backstage technician for a Canadian performance troupe called Cirque de Soleil. Right now i'm touring around the world with the troupe. It's nice to be able to travel around the world and not have to leave my hometown.

Well, theres lots of me in the army - though I suspect that the different ranked versions are the same guy at different points in his career - some of me in the national guard, many electricians and plumbers, many exec's belonging to various companies, a law firm who is headed by someone with my name and the company is called the same as my last name and a few other things

Its quite cool really, all those peeps with my name. Then theres me, the definitive version, honed to perfection over the centuries and the ultimate design - sat in my bedroom not doing much

mine came up with some guy from nitro, a chemical company, didn't read much into it, but im sure if my name is out there it has something to do with creating the t-virus. explains my freaky survival horror dreams and then anotehr guy was manager of a sheet metal company. that's as far as i got, seeing as I don't wanna know if a site actually has ME listed, considering the possibilities it'd be listed for...

It's no fun googling my name. My last name is so unique, only my family has it. I got 4 results: 2 about my brother being one of the top fantasy sports players, and the other 2 about contacting my cousin at his college.

Phaelax - Same here. I don't get anything other than the college site I was talking about earlier and a link to a family tree (Which, honestly, I don't know whether it's of my family or not! It only goes until like 1830 or something, and I don't know much about the history of my father's side of the family anyway). Actually, I just found out that I was a reverand back in the 1865.
