hi, i'm wondering what Z is for step value.

for example:

i moved a shpere using move object ?,?.?
then i wanted to know it's Z coord.

so for a step of 1.0
... what would be the Z coordinate of 4?

(the variable z would then contain the z coordinate)

Yknow, it can help if you check the help files from time to time. Everything you see there, has a full description of what it does or what it returns.

Beside object position z(id) you have a bunch of other commands to return something about the state of an object:
object position x(id)
object position y(id)

object angle x(id)
object angle y(id)
object angle z(id)
