If you play the song My Name is by Eminem, there is a part in the song where he sings "Hi my name is (huh?) my name is (what?)". If you play that part backwards he will sing, "It is Slim, it's Eminem" It's quite fun I think, also i wonder how the author makes it.

The most 'famous' one is Stairway to Heavan, and no, it's not real, it's all a bunch of poo-garbage.

Pretty cool stuff if you ask me. Maybe all these singers have a message that you put together and you have yourself a quest on your hands...

Edit: Uhh How do you play a song backwards?

You can reverse tracks on Audacity... just go "Effects" (or something like it, it's been a while...) and "Reverse" or something like it.

I used to love all that subliminal stuff; when I was a youngin', I was pretty scared by that Stairway to Heaven stuff (Okay, not a kid... ). I love the Eminem one; there is some site with heaps of them, I just forgot what it was (I used to have it bookmarked but recently cleared all of them).

It is true.... My friend(KLU 007) and I did not beleive it. So he reverse that special part... And it was true. Of course it just could be our brains that makes us hear those words.

Banana is ananab backwards, which is almost the same thing. Like anna is anna backwards. So I think it is just a coincidence.

CLAP CLAP CLAP
Genuis!

But look into sumliminals, and you learn that THIS is not a subliminal. All that is happening is that the mind is hearing what it wants to hear. And in this case words.
True fact, if you listen to gibberish long enough, you sometimes hear words that are not there.

But there is a trick to fake these recodings. And actually, the idea is to record it backwords, the mind actually trys to filter out some of the noise when you play it right, and as the bass is amplified when you play backwords so the original melody kinda is nulled out.

The only one I ever saw of these which I believe isn't a coincidence (other than the ones which are gibberish forwards) is Britney Spears - Hit Me Baby One More Time.

Too much of a coincidence (reversed it says "Sleep with me, I'm not too young")

I suppose you all know that Pink Floyd 'Dark Side Of The Moon' can be played to 'The Wizard Of Oz' and it works perfectly to the movie.

Personally, I swap track 4, and 5 around, and it works even better.

You get the Lords prayer if you play cradle of filth - dinner at the deviants palace backwards.

Ohh, that was a gay one.
Seriously, do you think a random scream, and a couple bloody pictures will scare me? And it isn't really subliminal, its just a shox site

The Brittany Spears song Hit Me Baby one more time, if you play the part "When you're not with me I lose my mind ive me a sign". That backwards would sound like "Sleep With Me I'm Not Too Young". wierd stuff.

If you have an audio program, try saying something at the end of a freinds favorite song, like if your freinds name is Paul, then reverse the track, at the end record, trying your best impression of the artists voice, to say something like "I know where you live, Paul, and I will kill you in your sleep" then reverse it again. If it works like it did for me and my friend, it should go like this...

okay, maybe not like that, but... okay, not even close. Sorry to waste your time.

I say exactly what's on my mind, like "Imagine your grandpa in a speedo" or "I eat Jell-O while waxing the table" and my personal favorite, "I drink bathtub water"

being a bedroom musician and knowing a lot of musicians including some that have become pretty popular in the states............they dont have time to write songs and do subliminal messages....somtimes people just hear what they want to hear or it is just complete coincidence.

however, there was a band that was sued back in the 80s for making music with subliminal messages, they were trying to hypnotise people into buying more records.
subliminal messages in public products was band in the 50s coz cinemas used to use it to get people to buy more drinks and stuff thus knocking up the profits, they also tried turning up the heating as a way of trying to sell more soft drinks but this was also barred and a set "comfort zone" was strictly applied.

the programmer formarly known as thicko.

I remember reading on a site about Subliminal messages that, under some circumstances, the reversed sound of someone speaking can yield what the person is thinking at the time. This isn't to say that you can record someone, reverse it and find out what there thinking, but it had a dozen examples of people who were under great deals of stress talking about it in reverse.

I don't know whether I believe it or not, but it's quite interesting. It also had hundreds of talking tracks, a lot being baby's gibberish saying things like "I love you, daddy". There was one kid who said "Daddy" forward with some gibberish at this ends, and it sounded like "Your name is Paul" backwards. There were some funny ones where kids sounded like they were saying profanities (Ohh, big word!), especially to people they didn't like.

If only I could remember the site!

Someone sent me that in an email and I felt it was relevant to this discussion. Warning: It nearly made me cr@p my pants and break my speakers becasue its very loud! Don't blame me for the rubbishness of the link either, I'm not sure what twisted part of my brain is telling me someone here might enjoy this....

I didn't discover it. There are many sites on the net that tell you about it, and how to Syncronise the song to the film. I actually prefer the film with the Pink Floyd music than actually just watching the film with speaking.
