I was surfing the net the other day and came across a company called enteractive inc and they said they created a product called dark basic profession and the packaging was exactly the same and everything. They also say they created the fps creator (Although the box was not the same).
I thought it was fast track that made darkbasic and the gamecreators that made fps creator.

Please could someone clear up my confusion.

Neither - Fastrack sell the product, not make it. TGC make it

http://www.enteractive.com looks like its simply a distributor for many games and applications. Like FastTrak but mainly for North American customers.

Quote: "
Enteractive Distribution Company leverages distribution and developer relationships to bring quality software to consumers. The Connecticut-based company offers small to mid-sized software publishers customizable, full service, royalty-based solutions to gain exposure and sales for their products in the North American marketplace.

Some websites are misleading though in way they advertise TGC products and call them things like 'Enteractive FPS Creator'.

Goto amazon.com and search for 'fps creator' - it comes back with 'Enteractive FPS Creator'

Other misleading sites;

I am pretty sure that stated in the link I posted above, someone says that DBP is made with C++.

Last time I chatted with Mike, they used Visual c++ 6.0. I didn't say they used that for creating darkbasic thought.

I asked Mike what was used to make DBP at the convention in November. He told me it was written in C++ but the compiler was written in assembly.

Didn't know that And for another surprising fact, 95% of the game Rollercoaster Tycoon was written in pure assembly language

And let me guess, Edward Elric was the guy who made it? I don't think Lee would aprove.

P.S. Do you ever notice the lack of chrono-placements in the series? It could almost be in any tim. The whole issue is kind of strange, it feels old, but sometimes looks new.

I know this is off topic but that's part of the style that Arakawa wanted. All though some speculate it takes place in the early 1900's.

And silly it was definatly wrath the 1337 homunculi who created Dark BASIC.
