Saving the Game is impossible at the moment, because the Save Game feature was never finished.
There is no "Loading" of a game that was "Saved" midways in play.

However, other things like screen brightness, music volume level, and etcetera are possible.

ESCAPEKEYPRESSED=X is a condition, so a pause menu can be created via a script.
The script can support changes to things like the AMBIENCE Levels (brightness) and other things.

Making a Pointer and using HUDSELECTIONMADE=X is something I haven't done yet, but I've been wanting too.
I'm busy for new year's eve, but I'll see what I can come up with after that.

The "<" and ">" keys control the brightness while playing the game.
