i am trying to use matedit, but im not sure how to get my matrixes into my programs. When i open the dba file, its blank. And i am using dbpro

yeah i thought that might be why. In that case, do you know how to rotate a matrix?

Matrices cannot be rotated. Try using .X files if you really need this feature.

Ya man, Yamman. .X files are the most widely used 3D model type, when you load it it works just like any other object in DB.

Yes you can make a world with them and I recommend Wings 3d and/or Blender 2.4

modelers dont use .x files. They use a file that is usually a 3d file with a different label like .hio or .ted or .tom or soemthing like that, then tehy are exported as .x or another 3d file. try going into the completed games section and look for land or landscape or something-there are alot of land modelers there.

If you use Wings3D (and probably alot of other things), you can export as a .3ds, and then convert that into a .X

Or use this to convert your matedit matrix to an object (.dbo or .x)to load.
