With the new year in just under 4 hours from where I am in england I thought it appropriate to think about my new your resolutions and I thought it a good place for other members to post theirs.

Mine:

1) As I play the guitar my resolution is to be able to play all of the scales for music.

2) I also hope to get my game (Top secret project) up to wip/demo standards

3) Buy a laptop.

Now what are your resolutions?

Sire Fire - Hey thats my joke!

As I posted in the other thread like this:
"My resolution? 1280x1024x32 on 3 17" tfts

I also hope to sell many more copies of Quikly Studio, and keep adding cool new stuff to it, making models etc. Tis going very well at the moment (thanks to everybody who has ordered it) and hopefully the switch from EA to Fully boxed product should go without a hitch - I already have a date for the reproduction, and possibly also a good deal on a nice, high quality, thick printed manual (for an extra tenner or so) for those who liek books

Other than that:

1: I resolve to actually finish and release my first professional solo album - trouble is I'm too picky about my own music - it was meant to be out by now
2: I resolve to actually finish and release the novel I've been meaning to finish writing for what seems like an eternity
3: I resolve to make an amusing flash animation and release it, (whenever I see new ones becoming popular I always think "I could have made that" but never get round to it)
4: I resolve to always be patient with the wife and kids no matter how stressed I am at work and how hard they try to p*ss me off
5: I resolve to follow the doctors recommendations and stop drinking, smoking and doing illlegal substances, and at the same time not make it blatantly obvious to my friends and get laughed at
6: I resolve to actually start weight training properly cause ever since my mate died and left me 300lbs worth of weighta an a bench I've never got round to it...

[edit] lol I hope no-one reserects this post next year, as I know myself too well to expect any of the above to happen, as I'll be spending all my time doing the first, getting Quikly done and adding stuff to it lol"

- I plan to get further out of debt without getting too tempted to buy more gadgets. I just shelled out over 3 grand for a 37" Sharp LCD HDTV, and I'm determined to not spend another dime until 2007

My main resolution is not to visit this forum during my working day - it gets too addictive and my work has definitely suffered over last few months. I will only visit in the evenings from now on.

I also resolve to finish my entry for the puzzle game compo that finished ages ago. Main game engine is now complete but need to do the boring bits now like create around 100 levels with turorials and stuff.

I also resolve to have a great time in February when I nip over to Australia for 3 weeks.

1 minute to go!

Boo!

Well, it's 2006, and I don't feel any different. Best start work on my project if I'm going to finish by the end of the year.

My new years resolution will probably sound stupid.

I have always loved eating pizza and consider myself a pizza expert. I actually have 4 pizza pan scars on my arms (from when I was a kid). For the last 4 months i've toyed with the idea but I vow to do it in 2006.

I'm going to learn to make pizza from scratch!

It'll probably take a while since i'm not that great at cooking and i'm very picky about pizza taste. Right now i'm good at taking a frozen pizza (Red Barron Classic Style), adding a ton of pepperoni (Hormel), and throwing it in the oven. That's the best frozen pizza and extra pepperoni combination i've found (belive me i've tried them all).

OOoooooh Pizza! Now THAT is a good resolution. The other day I went to a Pizza Hut buffet bar thingie - it was all you can eat. I stayed there for two hours and refilled my plate 3 times with all sorts of different pizzas. Then, when I could stomach no more, I hate 2 full plates from the pasta salad bar And then I went to watch Shane Richie in Panto, and slept through most of it due to my full stomach - probably a blessing in disguise

1 - Finish my main project , which I will hopefully NOT start all over again.

2 - Stay in shape and keep myself from fitting the stereotypical American discription.

3 - Make my Aunt mad over and over and over and over and over and....

4 - Learn how to cook

5 - Get better school grades

Get a girlfriend
Get a new job
Get a new PC
Pass my exams with good grades (B and above)
Get off my arse and get C4D 9.5 and a guitar and actually play the guitar (I've played for years, and I'm still crap, because I don't do it very often)

Wow... I can only handle about 5 slices of one.

I've attached a picture of the frozen pizza and extra pepperoni I always put together (before it goes in the oven).

More? It doesn't look like he has any! Personally, I couldn't enjoy a pizza so bland, I'd need to shove as much stuff on as possible.

And then put extra peperoni on the top of it. Unless he's started cooking his own from scratch already...

Auto Cad is just vertexes if you load it into MilkShape 3D
Doesn't that take a very long while to put all the faces on?
