I dont support the mySQL plug-in anymore,so the following is just as guess : It sounds like the plug-in isn't in the users plug-in directory and you dont have the main SQL system installed.

hmm okay, the blowout function isnt working...

i downloaded libmysql as i found some threads on the forum about it...

I am now presented with the following error:

'command in DLL command-table duplicated (mySQL.dll:mySQL_initialise)'

there about 4 of them ^ in one box... if i click ok it then comes up with another error saying:

'the procedure entry point mysql_get_client_version could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBMYSQL.dll'

any clues?

Are you planning on distributing a dbpro game that connects directly to mysql running on a remote webserver?
How do you plan on stopping people connecting with any old mysql client and having fun with the database?

I think this sort of stuff is better handled by a program running on the webserver. This program can communicate with the dbpro game and mysql. The program can also make sure that data coming from the game is sensible and there isn't something funny going on.

By way of demonstration, he emitted a batlike squeak that was indeed bothersome.

oh, forgot to mention. It will only work with mySQL 4.1

You need it for the libmysql.dll file

Hello Nicholas,
I know that you don't support this Dll anymore but I need one that will talk to mysql 5.0. I need the stored procs and triggers. I'm not good enough to create one or even to port yours and try to add the new features.
I'm ok with SQL as a language and I'm trying to learn Darkbasic. Can you offer me any advice in this matter?

Thank you for anything you might offer.
