Newcomers DBPro Corner / loading created objects help

I was using the 3d canvas program to create my 3d objects for my game, well, i was on this loading objects tutorial, and i loaded it, but it keeps saying that the objects doesnt exist, but i know that i loaded it onto the file and then i put load object "blocks.3dc",1 then loop object 1. And it still gives me the error. What am i doing wrong?

3dc is the 3d canvas format.

export the file to .x and it should be fine.

put the x file and the texture file into the same folder as the source code.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

what's the x file, i thought that you put load object "blocks.x",1
like you said, if thats correct, then how do i put them in the same file, i thougt that it was just a format

.x is a 3D object file. It's not like "x" has a variable where it could mean any extension name. You'll have to convert your .3dc to either the .x or .3ds file, then put the textures and the object file into the same folder as the DB program.

what can i use to change it into a 3ds or x file, i mean how would i do that?

There should be export function in 3D Canvas... As type choose DirectX model (*.x)
or 3D studio file (*.3ds)
