Hey i was just doing some tutorials and learning how to sue the program(Dark Basic Professional) and it was working fine. Then one time i went and pressed F5 to run the program i had written and it minimizes dark basic then restores it to a black screen then goes back to the normal screnn without running my program. How can i fix this and i have already tried reinstalling it.

Its probably something to do with your code, if u posted it here it would be useful.

Other than that it could be anything from video drivers to clashing software.

I doubt it will have anything to do with DB

Hey thanks, its stuffs up with any code just like.
print "why wont this program work"
It used to work and now it doesnt and i have tried reinstalling twice.

i get it. try something like this and tell me if you get the same problem:



it looks as if you just left it at the one line you showed, in which case it will appear, and as soon as it appears it has gone as the program finishes. so it will display for less than a millisecond. which could be the problem. have you tried any other code?
