ok, i've made this elaborate code for a program ending sequence using the escape key, however, after i make an .exe and i run the program, i hit the escape key and instead of the program bringing up my exit prompt, the program just ends. i thought maybe my code was wrong so i changed the escape key to the 'e' key and it works fine. do DB programs just quit when you hit the esc key by default? if so, how can i disable this so that the esc key will go through with my exit prompt? thanx in advance.

You can use Disable Escapekey() to prevent your program from quitting automaticaly.

And then you can still check for it by using Escapekey()
