Is there some sort of attatchment that will connect to a laptop, that has a slot for a graphics card? Or am I just dreaming about what a some-what reliable source has told me?

You can get a docking port that allows you to hook a laptop up to different hardware. My dock allows me to connect it to a monitor and a video card.

I'm not who you think...

I have an IBM thinkpad, so the dock is made specifically for it, so unless you have an IBM this one won't work for you. But I'm sure that a quick google search could turn something up...

Ive searched a lot. Problem is I don't know what the thing I'm looking for is called. I have been searching things like "mobile video card" and "video card laptop"

(umm what are they called? Docking ports?)

"Docking stations" should turn up something.
(without the quotes obviously)

-_-...

Mobile RADEON = lot of cash... I think youd be better off selling your compy on ebay then saving a few extra dollars to hit that mark of good gfx card with laptop.

if you want a nice and somewhat cheap vid card, get a desktop, laptops for gaming are way to expensive...
