Thanks for testing it.

I'm thinking of doing some kind of online highscore table.
Don't know how, but maybe with ftp -commands.

This game is of course done with Walaber/Kjelle's wrapper,
which is great.

Mx, but anything goes. If one makes an object.x and swaps it with RATA.x, its driveable. Just to remember that the car is at 0,-34,0.

38.6 :/, bs you got 32.

and yes although it seems very simple its strangely addictive, more fun than alot of these new racing games they just add too much :p,

i think the sterring should be more gradual as it turns quite a bit when you tap it, a longer circuit would be cooler, and a fun map like micro machines style.

[edit] i just got 32lol, once youve crossed the line if you drive backa while then come back it qualifys it as a lap , maybe you should add more checkpoints

DarkBasic MAD, Yes.

French gui, No, I have only "Sync rate 100" for restricting the
sync. I could use 60 so everybody reaches that and no more.

Dark Coder, When I make the steering more gradual or use steering wheel, the car slides too much. Haven't figured why yet.(I downloaded Kjelles Carlab, maybe it will help)

I have one half way checkpoint. It resets when lap is registered.
It should work because its faster to drive on than turn back.

AMAZING! Much respect to you Mikko , the physics are great. I never figured out how to work with newton on car physics ... But you did, you did it great! keep it up!

BTW is there a standard car engine or something that you've used?

Nice feeling, good sense of speed !!
There is something strangely addictive with this piece of work !!

I get a steady 110 Fps on an AMD 2800 With Geforce FX 6600
Keep us informed about your continued work !

Walaber is right now helping me (or rather doing the coding of the new tire pointers for the new vehicle system, cause I'm a c++ noob...) There is still some issues in getting the 1.5 Version of the Wrapper going. The Vehicle Joint is vastly improved, with that I dont think you will get the erratic bouncing of the wheels. And you will be able to get a much higher speed !

Dark Coder, It has to be the frames I dropped.I'll have to learn the time based motion, I think. I have read about it now, but it's hard to test with one machine only.

dabip ______ vgm, I'm glad that the v0_02 works well in your case and
the online scoretable updates (It's made with only ftp file transfer.)

Now, I put all data to one file block.Updated the zip alltough with the same name. I wonder if I can put newton.dll to block also...

newton has an elapsedtime command, and you could easily use that for your timer based movement.

the vehicle goes too slow. I keep trying...

GogetaX, I tought you drove over the fence somewhere, but there's the checkpoint.. so you are really hacking. I'm glad I'm not responsible of our firm's security

What exactly are you doing? Can I stop any hacking or do I have
to change to server client thing? This ftp seemed so easy?

!!!! Wait a minute... Now I guess what you did !!!!
Program writes the file to be sent first to disk and
after that sends it to web.
You changed old file and made it non-writable.
Did you ?
I'll have to change that... I wonder if deleting file before
sending is enough?
By the way, is there a way to send file directly from file block
to ftp?
