Firstly, upload your image with the post, using the browse... button underneath the posting area.

Post your message.

View your message and click the view button at the bottom right. This brings up your image. Copy the image URL in the address bar.

Edit your post. Between [p ] [/p ] tags, paste the image URL.

Congratulate yourself, and, if you are supple enough, pat yourself on the back.

Was wondering about this myself!

Looks like it works as well!

Might be worth mentioning that the:
[img'] 'url address' [/img']

all needs to be on the same line.

I still dont really get it . Is it the "Click to Open new File Uploader you mean? Or is it the Browse button on the side of it?

By the way, whats the url?

EDIT:

Ohh, guess it worked, in a way. Now its just to put it in the post visually.

My only question on adding images is ----- How do you make it so when you click the image, it has hyperlink qualities?

You just start with the link tag then the image tag start and finish then the end of the link tag.

Like this (remove the *'s):
[*href=http://website.com][*img]http://website.com/image.png[*/img][*/href]

The url is like:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=69176&b=7
It's like an address for each webpage.
Each image has a url too,
URL for Grog's signature(closest image to get to):

To get the url of an image, right click, and click on properties. IT should be under location or something like that.

Thanks. I think I got it now.

EDIT:

hmmmm, seems not after all. But it might have to do with that I used the Attachment part that one is able to use when you edit a message. Dont download, trust me, its a complete waste of time and space.

You need to have your own host to put the images (like your own webpage). TGC won't allow you to use the uploaded file ability on here to host images you want in your signature.

To edit your signature go to "Profile" at the top of this page (to the left of "Logout"), then hit "User / Forum Profile", then click on the "Forum" tab. Right under your name is a box to write in your signature.

I attached a screenshot of what my signature looks like in the profile page (normally it's one single line but I changed it to show all the text in that box).

Ah,

I added mine in the way mentioned by Batvink - was wondering why it only displayed when I was logged in! Gonna have to start a webpage!

Guys -

Someone posted something like this on the FPSC forums,

Its hilarious.

Loads of people tried to help the poor guy, and he kept posting saying - "Ive done what you said and it still doesnt work" - with his failed signature showing below.

I giggled so much I had to go back and have another look, Lol.

This isnt meant to be mean, the thread is just so funny tho.

Anyway - better contribute....Nice sigs guys!

K,

Lets try this one!

*Edit
Well look at that - it works!

And had to create an (almost) empty website to do it. May as well use the space now!

If only I could add it as an auto signature and not have to insert it each time! !

*Edit

Done it!

You gotta create a url AND paste it into your user profile signature between the [image] brackets. (Took some doing!)
