i cant seem to get paste image to work without the image becoming distorted. im using db pro.

set display mode 1024,768,32
load image "untitled.bmp",1,1
paste image 1,0,0

the image is saved as a 24 bit map with the same width and hight

please help my head is starting to hurt

Try using 32bit bitmaps...
