were can i find a program, (freeware if ya can), which will lwt me edit dvds, take single frames, and clips, i need this to make a bruce lee nunchuck tutorial application, cheers :d

you can take stills in power dvd, but as far as clips then thats a general no as well as editing dvds as its considered as a way to pirate them, but if you have a screen capture app there then

also can you please change your display picture as i know you have already been told about it - it is inappropriate

I don't get why people think just because something is illegal, pictures of it are inappropriate too.

Yes it is (if it's intended to promote or represent your own illegal activities), yes it is, and yes there is. It's not as bad now the sig has gone, but as a parent I still agree that it's inappropriate.

Anyway, to answer the question: DGindex, DVDdecrypter and VirtualDub. You need each one in that order to complete the task. There is a front-end to all 3 called AutoGK, but I don't bother with it.

ffs people it is not a "canabis" leaf its a hemp leaf. Hemp is fully legal and safe, they sell clothes made out of it in Marks and Spencers. Soap and Shampoo made out of it in the body shop. Seed to grow it in garden centres. There is nothing illegal about help. It only becomes illegal once it is cut and prepared into canabis resin or grass/weed to smoke or eat.

I entirely aggre that he should have changed his name and signiture, but to ask him to change the avatar seems a little silly, its not illegal and it will only be a relevant "drug" reference for people who already use it or know enough about using it to have made up their own mind and not be influenced either way.

I'm not flaming or insulting everyone here, just trying to be rational...

my god..... I cant believe people would get offended by a leaf. What is the world coming to? Are you also the kind of people that force themselves to watch a TV program they hate and then write an angry letter about it? I tend to find the "off" channel works well in those situations...

As for the DVD apps - AutoGK is great if you want to convert a DVD to DivX/Xvid

And "420" refers to the taking of cannabis.

he's not linkig to the website though - and how would anybody other than someone already educated about drug taking knwo that? My point is its only going to be recognised by people who already know about it terefore it can't corrupt or influence anybody

Speaking as a parent and a school governor, I am very aware that children hear far more about drugs than we would like them to. So advertising the various in-phrases and imagery on a public forum is only strengthening the message that it's OK to do drugs. They already know what it looks like, and the terminology.

It's not OK to do drugs, however they may be classified. I've seen the damage it does to individuals and families, and 99% of the time it starts as a "harmless drag".

I understand your point about being unaware, it's just a sorry state of affairs (and many people don't realise) that kids as young as 6 are being given free samples at the school gate. There are also children as young as 8 watching 18-rated films - bought by their parents - and being "desensitized" to illegal activities.

6?? thats crazy! I never even saw any illegal drugs until I was 11, and kids in my class didn't really start being interested until around 14-15 Even then I never felt any peer pressure about it, people just made up their own mind.
