What is the main engine diffence between those too , but without counting formats and stuff , just the engine , more specific , the "rendering" engine , is picture clearer in db pro or something , does it supports like antialasing so games can be much nicer.. ?

Well darkbasic Pro will give a better look, not because it is better at rendering (they both use Direct X), but you have more things you can do (bump mapping cartoon shading, high res etc)

it does, sorry bout that. But the other stuff still applies, by using dbps more powerfull command you can make better games, is my answer though.

Main Engine difference:
DB Classic: DirectX 7
DB Pro: DirectX 9

...maybe one day I'll finish a project

DBP is alot faster than DBC too, an advantage is that it automatically creates an EXE to show you, disadvantage is that it means that it has to load longer than DBC.

DBC's exe fps and DBC compiler fps usually have a big difference.

It's the programmer's life:
Have a problem, solve the problem, and have a new problem to solve.

I think it's more the capabilities of the programmer, 3d artist, etc. that make a game look good or not. If you have crappy looking 3d models, or your code isn't efficient, your game is going to be crap on DBP or DBC. There've been some absolutely fantastic games written with DBC (Firewall, Star Wraith.)

DBP is definitely better than DBC, but don't think that just by having DBP, your game will automatically look better.

Actually, DBC uses DirectX 8.
