I'm currently looking into CMS's for a website I work with. Its getting to the point where it requires a new and more controllable system.

Has anyone else here used a CMS? Any advice?

I'm currently playing with Drupal, which isn't too bad at all (if not confusing). I've also used PHPNuke - but its a little "amatuer" for this site.

There are a number of features, but the basics are:
* Need for categoried articles (multiple category required).
* Articles should have a public section and a members read only section..

Its hard to explain - there is a 3 page word document with bullet points forming a Wish List.

Mambo looks nice - I'll look into e107 too.

I did suggest to them that I could build them a custom made one - however they prefer an open source one as its already done and its very likely the stuff they wanna do can come in the form of a module/plugin.

Ok, currently, my ratings are
1. Drupal
2. Mambo (looks nicer, but it is DAMN hard to figure out!)
3. e107

e107 looks like a really good CMS if you're making a kind of portal thats designed for users to populate (comments and forums, etc) but it doesn't seem like the kind of CMS for a site which has over 1000 articles that need to be hosted under different categories.

I'm currently looking into Migard - anyone used that?
