I am Thailand student. now i want to learn dark basic and my project. it is virtual tour, i have some (big) problem about it. I can't find book in thai language and I don't know how to create menus in my project ,how do i arrange object in dark basic...help me please ..

Read the help files
How u mean arrange objects? - position object <number>,x,y,z ?
About menu - use a bg image as sample then draw a simple text

What kind of virtual tour u r creating?

im thinking here that one of the main problems is that you dont have enough skill in english. if it isnt then ignore the rest of my post.

try studying and learning more english. its a good skill to have, and it opens more doors than just being able to understand the dark basic book

woohoo im starting to get the hang of this! i can now officially program text adventures.

Thanks for your comments. I have a little English skill but i like to study it.Now I am reading beginning to darkbasic book. it is one book that i found in thailand and nobody translate to Thai language.

Well, a virtual tour project will take time and experience, but we can help you out. In the picture you showed us, that is a very expert virtual scene. For something like that, you will need a long time of practice.

I have some programs that may come of use to you Archimonde.
Here they are in zip file. This is a DARK BASIC PROFESSIONAL programs.
I have all the media included and its a self extracting one incase you don't have winzip.
Sorry its so big. But I really think it may be of help to you, I just threw in commenting earlier, but the more complex program I didn't comment alot because its so big. I hope you understand it and it helps you.

Achimonde, if you can't read english that well, there are software or even websites that will help translate english to thai. I found many sites that helps me translated my spanish homework to english.

i do that too a little bit just for grunt work. no use in wasting time.

listening to music in english so you memorize it and then learning the translations is a great way to pick up some big chunks of a language without alot of effort. I learned a little german this way thanks to RammStein.

you're english isn't bad at all. if you'd not said you were in Thailand, i'd not have noticed. i was friends with a foreign exchange student from germany who was trying to learn c++ from a book in english and he didn't do too bad, but he freaked out when the autor kept saying to "execute the code".

and for menus, just make a bitmap of the menu and put a loop that checks the mouse position when it clicks and goes to the next menu if it's on a button.

Thanks again for all comments.All of You are good guys that i never seen before. I can't use English well and i try to tell you what i want to do in my project olready. I have read tutorial of Xenocythe but not yet. It is a good tutorial for beginners.

Now i have some ploblem about bitmap
i don't know how to position bitmap when i use display mode in 1024*768
