hey everyone!
im making an RPG and im taking another approach at MELE combat. i want to
reduce how far this "bullet" goes so its RIGHT infront of the character.
so then when you click it will shoot an invisible bullet while rotating the sword.
but currently i can shoot from a ways away. does anyone know how to take down
the range in this code:

thanks in advance,

If I understood you correctly then instead of setting the BulletLife variable to 25 when the mouse is pressed try setting it to a smaller value say 5, that should reduce the distance the bullet travels.

[edit] Or instead of moving the bullet 10 units with the move object command try making that value smaller.

yes but if u think aboout it, the faster it travels, the further it goes, i.e. a car traveling at 60mph goes 60 miles in one hour, where a car going 10mph only travels 10miles in one hour, therefore both approachs have the same effect, infact if the collision boxes are too small, a large speed can make the bullet "miss" an object.

life's one big game
