Here's a shot of some more progress on my project. It's from a level called "The Temple Of King MuggaFugga."

What was on your "MuggaFuggen" mind with this one. I like the image but it's missing color. LOL!

Nue B. or not Nue B. That is the question.

The little hopping guys are in another level. Heres a modeling shot of one of the freaks that are going to be in this level. His name is "Phanto"

reminds me of ghost house written on jamagic....all black and white, was a good idea, but i would warn you that the story and stuff better be good coz to play one level like that was different, but after about 3 levels i think people might get a bit bored with it.

Hi Lon,

Thanks for the update - its really good to see you carry on with the project and as with the original Pencil Whipped I am sure this will be a similar success.

Looking forwad to following the progress.

Lon I just want to say that I'm very impressed with the look of this game, I love it. I just downloaded Pencil Whipped and loved that as well.

What did you use to make it?

The artwork is great. I feel like I've seen this "style" of cartoon artwork before...but I can't place it. Something from my childhood. It has a certain creepiness and sinistar look to it, almost like a nightmare, is probably the best way I can describe it.

Yeah, LOL I remember I accidentally included those sound files with the demo even though the level wasn't in it. I'm planning on making this the first level of the game (way different than originally conceived). You'll even get to ride the "MuggaFuggen Express". I know it's absurd to have a trolley in an ancient kings temple, but my game is all about absurdity.

Yeah, Lon has a very strange sense of humor that works all too well.
I remember playing his first game and seeing something pop out of the group going AHAHAHAHAH. It was so unsettling that I jumped back in my chair.
Whatever Lon is brewing up, it looks to be good.

Yeah, these sound were freaky! I still hear "YEAHAHA!" in my head once in a while! And the one when you fall down the pit "YAAAAAaaahh!!! Jesus!"... and all the farts and stuff... I love it!
What I wanted to ask you, Lon, is how do you make the textures for the characters? Do you scan them or you just draw them in some app? If you scan them, what do you use for drawing?

Thanks everyone! Here's another screenshot with Phanto in action. He's a ghost and once I got him working properly, he even scared me. He pops out of nowhere, zips up to the player and wiggles around laughs and scares the life out of you...literally.

A bit more progress. Texture needs a bit of work though. Why there are cases and cases of toilet paper in an evil kings temple.....remains to be seen.

Thanks!, but actually after looking at it, I might model my boxes a bit more "Dr. Seuss". They look too square. After all, I'm trying to simulate a hand drawing.
