I posted this ages ago. It got locked in no time. Dunno why though. I mean it's a famous person falling around a bit. Whoop.

Anyhows, Moderators taking a new look at the AUP then or something?

Cheers

God, that's so lame, it's just some idiot modding a pre-existing ragdoll demo in flash so you're tossing Bush around instead of some nameless girl, and probally getting lots of hitcounts/views for it. So newbish I want to scream

Yeah but the ragdoll"ness" is still really impressive and its fun to play with. Maybe Pincho hadn't seen the original so didn't realise this was just a rip off - the original is great

Newton ragdolls are great, until you bash them around too much, then they tend to mess up. But for falling ike in this demo its quite easy and very cool

Amazing what bush can do at his age. With some bashing and pullin, I got him between 2 !overlapping! spheres.

I think 2D ragdoll like this isn't too hard to do, but the sphere collision has some impressive physics, like nice friction settings, and sometimes he snags himself which looks funny.

Darn tootin'! I mean what kind of a sick maniac makes a game like this but forgets to add the huge network of jagged rusty metal!?

How is 2D Phyiscs impressive? After all the collsion is the simple equation of circle, and friction is really just an assigned value of decelleration. I think that keeping the figure together is much more impressive. After you get it so he doesn't fall apart, you only need to put the right values into the equation for each bone.

It's like 'The Flight Of Birds' it's easy to see afterwards how a few simple commands can produce something that looks natural, but if you are the first to do it, then it looks impressive.

It's strange you should say that, because that is what I originally typed. But, you have more chance of dying from a serious infection from rusty metal.

You should listen to Helena by My Chemical Romance while watching him fall and hitting himself. The music seems to match the game.
