Tanks was a good easy old game. Two tanks on opposite sides of a landscape take it in turns to fire their gun into the air. Wind, and power effect the trajectory. You just have to hit the other person before they hit you.

What started me was a 2D game where you control a ship and dodge lasers. It is in the code base called Laser Assault. The person who submitted is not me. I didn't have an account yet, so he agreed to add it.

Actually pong can be hard to make. I recommend A simple plateform game.

Pong's not hard to make. Platform games have everything that Pong has plus a whole lot more.

In the newcomer section, there is a sticky for tutorials - included is a very nice Pong tutorial indeed. I recommend it.
