I've been wanting to make a simple game, just something like a 2d stick man game, where you can get a job and such. Like a simulated game, first of all, what programs will i need. Can darkbasic classic do this?(Because that is all i have) And also can somebody please give me a link or something to somwhere that has tutorials for programming this kind of thing, so i even know how, because im not sure i know how to do thing like collison and heath stats.

If you're talking 2D sprites you only need a drawing program like Paint Shop Pro, or even MSPaint and Darkbasic.
