is it possible to read an integer from a file and save it to a variable? if so how is this done? like if i have the number 6 saved in text.txt, then i open to read it, how do i save the number as a variable?

Next time you do that i'm gonna cut off your wee wee, and put it on some bread and feed it to kitty....

have the .dat file, (or txt, or owt really) with the varible saved in it

lets call it varible.dat

i havnt got dbp on this computer so that may be slightly wrong withe the open to read, and read string, but click help, commands, file commands, and they will al be there

also u could use write byte to file command insted of typing ur number, this way u wont have to convert from string to integer

hope that helps
