DarkBASIC has been my favorite because it is easier, although I do a little about almost all programming languages(the common ones at least). But my real favorite is C++ because it's used to make most video games!-and most programs all together!!

-oh yeah, I am a guy.-

Great times!!! Great times!!!

My program was... 1 - 1

Just took 3 days to program, but it worked first time!!!

Booting up just meant turning the brass handle twice, now that is a fast boot up!!!

I once got the black screen of death when the blackboard fell on my head!!!

Ahhh tickety tick, tickety tock, click, click!!!

my favorite programming language??

well, its not just one but a few of them.

Turbo C++....which I'm re-learning again. Also, some Dark Basic, but mostly Pure Basic. I'm learning and coding with the trial version. It rocks!!!

Also...I'm awaiting for both Cold Steel Engine to download and try both the lite and SDK versions.
Yet, mostly I'm awaiting for Cobra....the Cobra game programming language.

cheers,

i like visual c++ 5.0 , rosasm , (Dark Basic) , and Just Basic , And Visual Basic.

Now i know some Visual Basic (a little database and other stuff , but only basic`s really)

Visual c++ 5.0 (i bought a book , and i`m about 30% read the book , and learned what those 30% say..)

Just Basic (it is my favourite language , my first , and best language i learned , i know it best then every other language)

Dark Basic (i don`t know anymore , few months back i thouth i knew it good , i made all sorts of 3d games , fps`s , checkpoint racers and so...never finished thought , but felling like it`s no problem , i stoped using db for a few months , and now i just make some programs in other languages for it , and then "call" the programs by execute , and set up configuration with write to file command)

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! I like Simula 67!

No, seriously though, I like DBPro best for games, and Java best for things like file processing junk. I mainly like Java so much because I had to use it for two consecutive Comp Sci courses.

See the pic below:

Right now, I'm a complete Delphi fan-boy. I got converted after writing a program in vb.net and then completely rewriting it with Delphi (so it would work on Linux with Wine.) Never had a more fun time writing a database app.

Quote of the day! Thanks for that!

My favourite game programming language right now is PlayBasic, then DBP. C++ and C# are also high on my list, but of course they're for the more serious.

Java is just another C-style scripting language. If you think Java is shorthand, you should check out Perl. Ouch!

put it on high for 5 minutes.

it's a lot better if you get a coat hanger or something, and jam it in the little hole so the microwave thinks that the door is shut. Then you can poke your head in and check if it's done without stoping the microwave! I don't understand why they make you shut the door anyway

Government propaganda. Microwave rays actually cure cancer - it's all just a big conspirancy to distract us from the 2045 invasion of the alternate-dimension rabbits.

Don't lie... we all know you won't go to his funeral.

I someone I didn't like died, I'd just say that they were Irish and go get shipfaced. That's gotta be one of the best funeral traditions ever.

I like vb6 the best, but purebasic is good too. C++ IMO doesnt have enough ... standardazation, but its more borland C++ msvc++ devc++ and so many others, that i dont want to deal with.

My favorite programming language is English, but I cant seem to find a compiler...

I've used a lot of different BASIC's some of which would surely open a flamewar, so i'll just say I like BASIC. I've worked on lower level languages too like TurboPascal, BMax, and C++ and I dont really like any of them. I can write stuff in them, but I preffer BASIC's because I can write soo much faster.

I guess I'm simple minded.
