or ipchicken.com and to find your ip on your network, (if using windows), double click on the computer connection icon in your task tray, and choose support, then look at where it says IP address : 192.03453452346236 236 (and so forth lol). At least that's the way for me. It could just be that way since I'm using wireless internet.

If you want local, type "ipconfig" in the console.
Or, for you win98/me people, type "winipcfg" in the RUN of your start menu.

Of course, if your local and public aren't the same you're probably using a router and could also view your public ip through the router settings. Usually accessed through a local ip typed into your web browser.

Or just run this ip.bat , it will give you all the informations including ip , gateway...
